Upcoming 2025 Youth Programs

  • Spring Xinachtli '25

    March 11th - May 29th 2025

    Tuesdays & Thursdays

    9am-2pm

    Ages: 3-6pm

Xinachtli is a Nahuatl word describing the moment a seed sprouts and is no longer the seed nor fully the mature plant, yet it is the process of one’s unique becoming that is highlighted and celebrated. Here at Xinachtli, it is each child’s process and their genuine becoming we honor and nurture by curating an attuned, responsive and developmentally rich environment suited for the growing child.

What a day at Xinachtli looks like? Rhythm guides each day through a series of in-breath and out-breath moments. Imaginative play, circle, song, story, nature crafts, food alchemy, a wonder walk and seasonal snack all flow within nature’s chorus. Xinachtli is experienced as a multicultural playscape where the essence of childhood is fostered. Friendship and imitation thrive among the living, natural world, seasons and cycles, all in a play and Earth based environment where one’s understanding of kinship spans beyond human and enters the realms of the plant and animal kingdoms. One day the children may become a fox family and the next brew a potion of juniper tea to serve their friends while a small group go fish in the spring ditch. The options are endless!

  • Summer Camp 2025

    Session One: July 14th - 18th

    Session Two: July 21st - 25th

    Session Three: 28th - August 1st

    Xinachtli

    Ages 3-5 years

    9am - 2pm

    Three Hearts Wild

    Ages 6-12 years

    9am - 2pm

Our summer programs, Xinachtli and Three Hearts Wild, run parallel to one another offering ample opportunity to cross pollinate while being fully immersed in age and developmentally appropriate offerings for the growing child. ZEA (zay.ah) Community Enrichment is devoted to creating intergenerational and multicultural circles with diverse mentorship. Xinachtli’s summer program follows a similar rhythm to our spring and autumn circles with the added bonus of water play and popsicles!

What to expect from Three Hearts Wild? Imagination, mountains of movement and play! Quite simply play is foundational to human growth and development, neuroplasticity, socio-emotional capacity, nervous system regulation and social health. Some of the many things Three Hearts Wild will be engaging in this summer are multicultural games, Danza Azteca, Hip Hop, partner movement games, improv theater practices and skits, connecting with the farm in collaboration with HAFN (Harvest of All First Nations), Earth crafts, story weaving, food alchemy, and the unexpected!

Our inaugural program launched the summer of 2020 in our backyard in Gunbarrel, CO. Having had a successful season, we began to explore areas to host our programs ongoing. Our dear friends, Allie and Oliver, invited us to their farm in Longmont, CO. We partnered with Pachamama Farm & Wellness in 2021.
